St. Anne's Rosary Makers

What We Do

We are a group dedicated to making rosaries for the students of Catholic schools all over the country. Started by Don Lucas in 2005 with just three other members, 75 rosaries were completed in the first year. We slowly added more members, and ever since 2006, a rosary table sits in the gathering space of the Church of St. Anne, inviting anyone interested to join our group in the rosary making efforts.

During the first seven years, we distributed 8000 rosaries to Catholic schools around the country, and even to missionaries overseas. Now, since 2018, we have made and shipped over 100,000 rosaries. We operate in a way different from most other rosary groups. People will come to the church to pick up the supplies at home, make rosaries at whatever pace they select, and return the finished rosaries to the church to be shipped out. Our rosaries are given away free of charge and we pay all shipping costs.

Sadly, Don Lucas passed away in January 2024, but our group continues strong in his memory. None of us realized how much Don had taken upon himself until we split his duties among several of us. Don was truly passionate in what he did and generously donated a tremendous amount of time, money, and talent towards spreading the message of the Rosary to everyone.
